Parent Resiliency

Supporting Parents. Strengthening Families. Building Resilience.

Designed to help parents manage stress, build emotional strength, and improve relationships with their children. Our groups use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), a proven approach that teaches mindfulness, emotion regulation, and coping skills. These groups are designed to give you the tools to manage the challenges of parenting while reducing the impact of stress on your well-being and your family.

What You Can Expect

DBT Skills for Parents:

Learn practical techniques for managing stress, regulating emotions, and handling difficult situations more effectively.

Supportive Community:

Join a group of other parents who understand what you're going through. Share experiences, learn from each other, and build a network of support.

Child-Focused Learning:

While you're in the group, your child will be engaged in a safe, play-based group that helps them develop emotional regulation, communication, and social skills.

Resources for Your Family:

Get help with practical needs like transportation, food, and diapers to ease the burden on your family.

Who Should Join?

Parents of children aged 0-5 (older siblings are welcome as peer models or for other support)

Parents feeling the impact of stress, trauma, or difficult behaviors in their children

Families in need of extra support that are not accessing other services

This program is designed to help you become more resilient as a parent and create a healthier, more supportive environment for your child. We combine DBT (mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness) with ABA principles to help you understand and manage difficult behaviors while building stronger relationships.
